The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role dealing with overseas customers, possibly in an exports team role and be comfortable dealing with both new and existing customers.
Duties will include :
Work with executive management to understand the corporate mission, product strategy, brand identity, and sales objectives and translate those concepts into sales plans in the international marketplace.
Finding new clients across the region, contacting leads and converting them into sales
Maintaining and developing long term relationships with new and existing clients
Providing sales advice and technical support, introducing the range of products to new clients and updating current clients on existing and new products
Monitor the sales efforts and performance of existing agents and channel partners and develop sales plans, forecasts, and budgets to address product sales objectives for the international market.
Producing quotations for clients, liaising with the design team to produce first class proposals to clients
Following up to close sales
Attending meetings with customers in the region and attending exhibitions
At least 3 5 years of demonstrated success in a similar role (exports) ideally in the food industry
Fluency in spoken and written English
Very good knowledge of other european languages will be an asset
University degree and extensive professional training
Excellent numerical and reporting skills
Ability to travel abroad frequently
Knowledge of international and US contracts process or import / export compliance
Excellent writing and presentation skills.
Ability to develop expertise and judgment in complex areas of regulation.
Excellent people skills and time management.
