Software / Hardware Developer

As a member of the I-SENSE group you will be developing software / hardware for a broad range of domains.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related field
  • Knowledge of computer architecture concepts
  • Advance knowledge of English (oral & written)
  • Experience in collaborative research projects (e.g. H2020) is considered a plus

  • Highly self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and investigate solutions
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

  • Wireless communication systems (Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth, LoRa, GPS / GNSS etc)
  • TCP / IP based networking and network analysis tools (e.g. Wireshark)
  • General backend development (SQL, RESTful APIs etc.)
  • Deploying embedded and IoT solutions (hardware, operating systems, applications, cloud services etc.)
  • Integrating devices at the Edge or Gateway positions in an IoT technology stack
  • Understanding of security issues in the IoT industry
