Role purpose :
The IT Transformation Lead will work on a diverse set of IT transformation programmes as a Technical Programme Manager, ensuring deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Assess technical and architectural complexity
Validate technical designs against global architecture standards
Coordinate closely with other Technology and Business departments within the organization to ensure the deliverables are fit for purpose
Working closely with external contractors to assess the proposed solutions and steer them towards the company’s standards and vision
Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel working toward established milestones
Regularly communicating status updates to upper management
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
4+ years’ experience within Vodafone at senior technical position or significant external engagement in Technical Programme Management for IT companies.
Experience in major telecommunications BSS / OSS systems, including CRM, Billing, Service Fulfilment and Activation, preferably in the Fixed sector
Possess an architecture mindset adapting to principles and best practices
Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills, ability to communicate at various levels with internal and external customers
Solid understanding of both Business and IT issues (also at Technical level)
Solid understanding of the IT Landscape
Project and Engagement Management skills
An excellent command of written and spoken English is required, additional languages will be considered an asset
Excellent Communication / Presentation skills
Good perception and analytical ability focused on business solutions
Business and Technical writing
Punctuality, responsibility and reliability
Must have technical / professional qualifications :
University degree in Computer Science related fields
