Work under the supervision of senior EASO staff in the Athens Office and contribute to the overall management of the EASO Operation;
The tasks may focus on asylum and / or reception operations;
Contribute to the day-to-day management of the operation, including planning, implementation, assessment of needs, staff management, problem-solving;
Under the coordination of senior EASO staff in the Athens Office, provide direct support to Field Support Officers / Field Coordinators;
Provide support in managing contacts, liaise and network with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. other European and International institutions, NGOs, Greek authorities and others;
Participate in internal and external meetings;
Provide support to field operations in other locations than the duty station as requested;
Provide regular analytical reports and statistics of provided services and challenges;
Draft documents and monthly reports;
Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.
University degree is required;
Post-graduate degree will be an advantage;
Demonstrated previous experience in relevant tasks and in particular in managing and coordinating big intercultural and interdisciplinary teams is required;
Field experience in the migration and asylum context will be an advantage;
Experience in EASO operations will be an advantage;
Very good understanding of the Greek and European migration and reception context;
Fluency in English (oral and written);
Computer literacy, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web based applications;
Excellent intercultural / interdisciplinary communication skills;
Very good organisational skills and management skills;
Analytical skills and ability to work as a member of team.
