AgroApps is a startup SME backed by Space Hellas SA , that aims to solve the problems of modern farming and agriculture by building systems that address real life challenges using sophisticated numerical models, machine learning technologies, satellite and meteorological data, and crop growth models.

We are currently looking to fulfil a position of an experienced Product Owner to join our Product Team in Thessaloniki to help us roll-out products that deliver our companys vision.

The core focus of this role is to be responsible for the definition of user stories and prioritization of the Product Backlog, the scheduling of releases and the coordination of sprints, while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team.

The position encapsulates the collaboration between cross-functional teams and external stakeholders at all levels, while evaluating product development progress through continuous iterations.

What you will be doing :

  • Create and maintain the product backlog;
  • Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap, including clear acceptance criteria and business value;
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog;
  • Oversee the product development stages and delivery;
  • Plan product releases and upgrades;
  • Handle impediments affecting successful completion of releases;
  • Facilitate Change Management;
  • Provide continuous improvement services for existing clientele. Propose functional changes as required;
  • Own documentation and any related data / information assets related to the product;
  • Act as primary liaison and link between primary stakeholders and teams;
  • Be accountable on product development progress and final product;
  • Refine our product development methodology based on results and client feedback.
  • Requirements

  • BSc, or MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analyst, or similar sciences, or work experience as a product owner or similar role in product management;
  • Experience in software development principles;
  • Managing or participation in complex projects under demanding timelines;
  • Strong process and procedural skills regarding product lifecycle, functional enhancement and stakeholder management
  • Excellent reporting, problem solving, and strong analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication skills combined with a strong team spirit;
  • Excellent knowledge of English language.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies;
  • MBA / PMP / Other Management degrees and qualifications;
  • Agile Project Management experience (SCRUM).
