About the job

This position will be working closely with the HR & Payroll Services team in daily delivery of excellent services to a portfolio of clients.

A big part of your job will be to supervise our payroll procedures and liaise with other professionals within TMF Group, our clients and external authorities.

Your ultimate goal will be to ensure our payroll procedures are compliant, efficient and current.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and improve procedures for payroll accounts transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third-party payments);
  • Reconcile timekeeping and payroll systems;
  • Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and payroll system upgrades;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies;
  • Supervise and coach payroll clerks and assistants;
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits;
  • Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams of our clients;
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports to meet clients’ needs;
  • Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions;
  • Maintain good relationship with clients.
  • About you

    The successful candidate is analytical and methodical with experience in end to end payroll cycle. Possesses knowledge of Greek payroll regulations coupled with strong communication abilities.

    Integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills are highly valued attributes.

    Ideally, you are meeting following hiring criteria :

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Human Resources, Economy or related field);
  • At least 5 years of experience in end to end payroll processing;
  • Fluent in Greek. Good commands in English.
  • Knowledge of MS Office programmes (Good or Advanced);
  • Previous working experience with Payroll / HR software is an advantage.
