The Electrician is responsible for performing the necessary corrective and preventive electrical & electronic maintenance tasks, as well as any other relevant actions (i.
e. adjustments, settings, programming etc.) to ensure the efficient and safe operation of production equipment. Also, he / she contributes to the upgrade of existing and installation of new machinery / equipment.
Main Responsibilities / Tasks :
Perform diagnostic checks and electrical corrective maintenance on the electric cabinets (i.e. wiring, electrical / electronic components, switches, relays etc.
systems of motion (i.e. AC / DC motors, drives, servo, inverters etc.) as well as automation systems (i.e. Electrical connections, valves, sensors, auxiliary equipment etc.
on production machinery.
Execute the electrical preventive maintenance tasks according to the daily / weekly / monthly / annual schedule of production machinery.
Responsible for the electrical operation of production machinery systems and apply corrections through its PLC and other controllers to retain its optimum function.
Execute the daily checks and confirm the correct operation of electrical / electronic quality systems of product on machine operation.
Be part of production start-up or product change-over support team.
Perform the necessary actions on the electrical / electronic parts of the production machinery to ensure operation at the required level of safety according to regulations.
Able to work in a dynamic environment, communicate effectively within the technical team both in verbal and written, and cooperate with the production team.
Technical Institute Degree in Electrical Engineering will be considered as a prerequisite
Certified and licensed electrician with Class A’ State License for electrical installations
5 years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in industrial field, will be considered as a plus
Proven knowledge and experience in electrical wiring and networks, AC-DC / Servo motors, drives and automation, PLCs, sensors and electrical design will be considered as a prerequisite
Familiarity with industrial robot programming will be appreciated
Adequate knowledge of English language (both written and verbal)
Advanced PC literacy (especially MS Office)
Willing to work in shifts
