Analytics & Performance Specialist

The primary location is Athens, Greece but other locations in Europe can be considered.

Role Summary :

As part of your role, you will ensure that customers get premium value from LR products and services with an emphasis on the quality of our Machine Learning based models.

You will also deliver analyses, findings, and advice in the continuous process of maximizing the product value for our existing customers and ensure a smooth onboarding process of new customers.

Main Responsibilities :

Deliver analytical presentations, support customers throughout onboarding on our platforms, and continuously follow-up on goals, analysis, and guidance inquiries.

Support our teams by preparing analyses, providing technical advice and performance expertise.

Connect insights obtained through customer interaction with Strategic Accounts, Sales and Product Management teams as operate as a subject matter expert.

Survey the output quality of the models while managing the cross-team improvement processes and liaise with internal stakeholders.

Develop and improve internal processes in relation to onboarding, quality assurance and delivery.

Translate customer needs to requirements and collaborate with product and development teams.

Pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge and awareness.

Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.

Required Qualifications :

A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd’s Register within the relevant field of Naval Architecture or Computer Science.

Minimum over two (2) years of previous relevant experience within maritime industry.

Ability to handle technical related cases and support the customers towards continuous development of elements into i4 products.

Good understanding of the intricacies, advantages, and limitations of machine learning used for vessel performance insights.

Ability to develop analyses preferably in Python notebooks and Excel using LR back-end infrastructure.

Computer literacy and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Excellent command (written and oral) in English language using relevant professional terminology.

Preferred but not required :

Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture or Data Science Analysis is highly preferred.

Previous experience in data analytics will be considered an advantage.

Exposure to Maritime industry is considered an asset.

Has good planning and process management skills (scopes the length and difficulty of tasks; sets objectives and goals;

breaks down work into process steps)

Displays a team spirit, particularly in a multicultural environment and ability to work both independently and as part of a team with colleagues in person and around the world.

Is customer focused and driven to achieve excellent customer service and ability to establish strong relationships across stakeholders.
