This is a fully remote job with occasional visits in Poznań to meet the team and have a chance to talk about your development over a cup of coffee (or tea if you prefer).
Being part of the Infrastructure Team you will have an opportunity to work with multiple varied infrastructures and provide support for both : daily operations and projects.
You will work mostly with M i c r o s o f t A z u r e , but because of our wide customer’s portfolio and modern IT projects, you will have a possibility to work with AWS, GC and other solutions too .
Thanks to the cooperation across Europe you will be able to share and compare your professional knowledge with colleagues from other cultures and countries.
Also by collaboration with clients you will undergo new challenges .
As it is a senior role , so you will carry out advanced duties like planning and maintaining migrations from on-premises to cloud, creating and administering servers on Azure, troubleshooting on the 3rd level, and more.
If you want to contribute to the place where other team members are committed to their duties, resolve queries with involvement and additionally create some procedures from scratch there is no better place like this.
Main responsibilities :
Create and maintain servers on Azure Cloud platform
Configuring and managing Services like like Virtual Network, Virtual Machines, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, DNS, Azure Traffic Manager, Databases, Azure Monitor
Managing User Profiles and Security Policies on Cloud platform
Designs Windows Server solutions based on best practices
Drives automation initiatives for Servers provisioning and configuration
Provides technical engineering and design review for new server platforms, applications, infrastructure and hardware / Cloud
Design, Implement, configure, install , OS Hardening & support VMware ESXi 6.x / 7.x, Windows O.S (2008, 2012,2016) & Linux Redhat 6 / 7 / 8
Creating and managing secure Virtual Network , security groups, Virtual Network Peering, VMs and Snapshots
Run security vulnerability scans
Cisco DNS filtering
SLA / Incident and problem management
Closely engage with Engineering teams to resolve customer escalations
Skills & Competencies :
English fluent
Strong understanding of Cloud Technology, especially Azure Cloud
Windows OS with strong in O.S Troubleshooting knowledge like BSOD, O.S Upgrades, Event Logs Analysis, Server Performance Analysis, Cluster Servers, Handling Cluster migration & Upgrade tasks
Knowledge in Active Directory , Group Policy Management, GPO, DFS, DNS, DHCP, WDS Server and troubleshooting, storage & backup.
Scripting ( PowerShell or Python or Bash, Ruby )
Infrastructure development experience
Experience working with Engineering and Software Development teams
Soft Skills :
