The Hotels have a total of 422 rooms and suites, exquisite banqueting facilities, famous outlets, the famous Alexander’s Bar, and the rejuvenating GB Spa.
Our Hotels’ team seeks to fill the position of :
Assistant Payroll Manager
Will be reporting to the Payroll Manager and Complex Financial Controller
Duties and Responsibilities to include :
Assists in preparation of Monthly Payroll for all Associates, and also, assists in administration of all legal reporting / auditing as per local law and Social Insurance
Daily update of Timecard system information and supervise updates by Department Heads
Maintains knowledge of and complies with all payroll policies and procedures of Greek Labor Law and Marriott International reporting standards
Maintains confidentiality of all information regarding payroll records and Associate Information as per GDPR standards
Updates new employee records in payroll system as per information received from Human Resources, creates a file and includes all designated forms and data.
Reviews all Payroll Action Forms (P.A.F.'s) for complete information and ensure accuracy of figures and payroll actions
Maintains vacation accrual and sick pay records and reporting Inputs payroll from weekly summaries and pay request for, balancing to each department’s total.
Inputs or updates employee deductions (e.g. advances, etc.).
Copies / prints reports as directed and distribute to Human Resources, Assistant Director of Finance and Director of Finance.
Assist in creation of reports as needed
Support in Annual Payroll budget and payroll forecasting as needed
Support Associates with questions on payroll as per Payroll office open hours
The successful candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes
University Degree in Accounting or equivalent
Working permit for Accountant would be considered an Asset
Working knowledge of EspilonNet Pylon software would be considered an Asset
Good working knowledge of Social Insurance, Personal Tax and other payroll related needs as per Greek Labor Law
At least 5 years of working experience in a similar position in the hospitality sector, preferably in an international, luxury environment
Excellent command of the English language certified at minimum of Advanced level
ECDL certifications with excellent working knowledge of EXCEL
Strong people and project management skills
Problem solving skills. A can do attitude is a must.
Organizing skills and coordination ability
Analytical, numerical skills and attention to detail
Interpersonal communication skills, integrity and commitment
