About the role
Beat is a Product Development company that focuses on good, qualitative engineering. Our teams are responsible for designing, developing and delivering their products using the latest cutting-
edge engineering tools and practices. Teams use different agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, to become self-organised and as autonomous as possible.
As an Associate Product Owner at Beat, you will be part of a cross functional team and partner with Product Owners, Engineers, Product Designers and key stakeholders to launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
You will be expected to understand business needs and develop appropriately detailed specifications so that they are clearly understood by the development teams.
What you'll do day in day out :
Be responsible to break down an Epic to several features
Collaborate with stakeholders about the different aspects of the Epics and be accountable for the created product (s)
Create specs with the help of a Product Owner / Product Manager or on your own to guide our Agile Software Development teams
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories by collaborating with a Product Owner / Product Manager to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
What you need to have :
At least 2 to 3 years of working experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager or Delivery Manager in Software companies or IT Consulting.
Otherwise, equivalent experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Software Tester in a software, SaaS, or systems development environment, but with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle
Experience in managing project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organised and structured way
Fundamental understanding of end to end customer experience integration and dependencies
Adaptability to change and ability to execute quickly
Tech-savviness and a continuous self-development mindset
Experience with agile development methodologies will be considered as a plus
