Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior React Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland.

Our client is a powerful Language-as-a-Service (LaaS) platform that enables web meetings and live conferences with real-time multilateral language interpretation.

The client relies on a 40-year combined legacy of conferencing and language services. The first-ever B2B platform allows clients to instantly book interpreters for multilingual meetings, and it streamlines the multilingual experience while giving full autonomy to both clients and interpreters.

The project’s tasks will have several modules for operating a marketplace, which may include : authentication, subscriptions, notifications, profiles, scheduling, administration, reporting, ratings / reviews, bookkeeping, payments, and more.

An individual’s duties will depend on which modules get stories during each sprint.

  • Daily meetings at 16 : 00 CET.
  • Later working hours due to the time difference with the USA.

    • Requirements :

  • 6+ years of software development experience with JavaScript in enterprise-level SaaS applications.
  • 3+ years of experience with ReactJS and React Native.
  • Commitment to TDD, SOLID principles, and related best practices in OOP.
  • Experience building an enterprise-level Software as a Services (SaaS) product with high application performance and stability standards.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, and others.
  • Advanced understanding of HTML5, SCSS (or CSS3).
  • Extensive knowledge of Redux.
  • Proficiency in a modern IDE like WebStorm.
  • Strong communication skills in English and comfortable working with remote teams.
  • A team player with excellent manners and personality who values humility, collaboration, and openness.
  • MS / BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.

    • Nice to have :

  • Experience with B2B and B2G applications.
  • Knowledge of AWS.
  • Expertise in Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience with ADA Compliance.

    • Responsibilities :

    This is a front-end role focused on the website and mobile application. The ReactJS front-end interacts with a Rails back-end and may also interact with Java-based services.

  • Develop new features and enhance existing features.
  • Provide fixing bugs.
  • Refactor code.
  • Run performance improvements, reducing technical debt.
  • Perform TDD test.
  • Write better unit tests.
