Huntington Ingalls Industries - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Site Security Representative to support our government customers.

The Site Security Representative will be instrumental in the planning and executing the physical security and access control to a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility in support of the US Government.
This position supports a 24 / 7 requirement and the position will be required to work 56 hours per week on a routine basis.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Administers and coordinates the physical security for a classified space.
Assist with the processes, procedures, reviews, training, etc. necessary to implement a secure facility access control system.
Administers and coordinates the physical security activities for a classified space to ensure compliance with government regulations.
Develops access control and / or physical security inspection reports.
Provides physical security inspections of classified spaces.
Provides security guidance for all requests for the placement of communications equipment within a SCIF.
Supports building / area alarm systems and perimeter intrusion detection systems. Installs and replacesCCTV cameras, camera-related equipment, and cables.
Perform data entry, where applicable, to give access to all approved facility access requests. Each site may have its own respective process and utilize either a hardcopy or automated system to manage its access control process.
Coordinate access approval through Government Point of Contact (GPOC) or their designee's approval.
Maintain an audit for all granted accesses to the facility. May be required to compare their respective audit log against electronic badge system logs for completeness and anomaly resolution.
Be knowledgeable in and act as coordinator for all aspects related to Security (specifically PERSEC, PHYSIC, and OPSEC)
Grant access to facilities by activating the user’s account into the building access system. Ensure all personnel entering the facility have been properly trained.
Responsible for collecting and reporting site metrics to include tracking of visitors obtain access logs for monthly review and audit in accordance with the Insider Threat Program requirement.
Gather, QAQC and submit DoD account request paperwork as needed
Know and implement mitigation strategies for all OPSEC and PERSEC issues.
10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;
or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
Ability to work within a customer-oriented environment and provide quality service
Ability to participate productively as a contributing member in a team environment as well as independently
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment toward completing assignments in a timely manner
Experience with Defense Information Security System (DISS)
Clearance : Must possess and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
Former military experience in a Special Security Office (SSO), preferably as the Facility Security Officer(FSO)
Use of the Intelligence Community badging system
Knowledge of CINCH security systems
Experience working security issues on foreign military bases, especially if that experience is in Europe.
Experience in supporting Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) programs
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
