On behalf of our client, an awarded international company operating in 7 countries, delivering top-notch software solutions within the FinTech sector, we are currently in search of a Sales Director to join their branch in Athens.

A day in the life of a Sales Director

You will work closely with the CEO and other members of the company's senior management, leading 8 people in your department.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Business Unit and its sales direction, monitor the delivery of projects and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction within the public sector

Your day to day

  • Hold full P&L responsibility for the operations of the Business Uni
  • Build and maintain extensive network on the Central Government as well as the peripheral public sector
  • Oversee the overall strategic direction of the company for the sector.
  • Plan and implement long term strategies to achieve the BU’s objectives
  • Increase efficiencies and speed up processes across the business
  • Set BU budget and forecast along with the Finance Director
  • Actively be involved in all the Business Development activities
  • Develop and evaluate new business opportunities by networking, expeditions, presentations or other means of generating interest from potential clients
  • Identify opportunities to better utilize existing clientele in terms of revenue generation. Build and strengthen business relationship by upselling to current clients on both C, operational and top levels
  • Monitors competition
  • Oversee tender bidding activities, sales proposals and client presentations
  • What you will need

  • 8 years of Sales experience in Public Sector and minimum 2 years in a managerial role
  • Degree in Business Administration and / or MBA in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of bidding procedures, bids composition and management
  • Expertise in project management
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
