About the Role
Within our Consumer Goods Business Unit we are currently looking for a Global Demand & Supply Chain Manager Washable Underwear (m / f / d) in full-time and permanent contract.
The position can be located in any major office at Essity in Europe, preferrably in Ismaing, Germany.
As Global Demand & Supply Chain Manager Washable Underwear (m / f / d) you are responsible for managing and continuously improving the demand and supply management processes globally for the newly launched WAU assortment.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the global demand forecasting process, while at the same time working closely with our 3rd party suppliers to secure a competitive and flexible supply chain with short lead-times.
You will be working closely with Supply Chain, Logistics and Sales & Marketing functions globally and regionally to develop new standards, optimize and adapt processes and coordinate day to day demand and supply chain activities.
In this role you will be reporting into the Global WAU Director and be part of a small team fully dedicated to build and grow this new business segment.
The taskforce is predominantly based in Ismaning (Munich, Germany) and Gothenburg (Sweden), which would therefore be preferred locations.
Any other major European Essity location can be considered.
What You Will Do
Establish efficient Demand Planning processes across functions and Business Units for WAU
Consolidate and validate bottom-up forecasts & own D2C forecasting process for WAU centrally
Lead Demand Reviews globally with all Business Units to drive continuous improvements
Be the single point of contact for Demand for the WAU segment and member of the WAU Taskforce team
Manage the S&OP demand planning consolidation for WAU and review process and closely collaborate with key stakeholders in business logistics, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain
Secure communication and coordination with Customer Service, Marketing and Sales Organizations to gain an understanding of market / customer ordering behavior
Follow up and optimize WAU related Demand KPIs
Own and manage our supplier relationships
Continuously review and optimize processes along full supply chain
Lead regular reviews with our different supplier
Set-up and secure quality and performance KPIs across supplier network
Be the key point of contact for Logistics for all WAU related DP & SC topics and specifically support the CG Business Logistics team on all E-commerce related operations
Apply processes to other new business segments that will be added to the portfolio
Who You Are
In-depth knowledge of demand planning and S&OP-processes
Ideally multiple years of work experience across the different disciplines of demand planning and supply chain management
Experience in supply and supplier management
Experience in the fashion industry is a plus
Ideally experience in E-commerce Logistics processes
Excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to support and influence people across different disciplines, cultures, and positions
Strategic thinker that defines optimal processes, while at the same time being able to implement and execute
Strong analytical and IT skills (MS Excel, SAP APO DP)
A broad stakeholder perspective and ability to understand stakeholder requirements
Ability to drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing
A winning and problem-solving attitude
The passion to take strong ownership and ambitiously deliver on or beyond agreed goals and aspirations
Can-do attitude and willingness to work also on daily operational topics
Fluent English knowledge required
Willingness to travel to other Essity sites & attend any required meetings
