The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG is a joint venture company established with the purpose of planning, developing, building and operating the TAP natural gas pipeline.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer (MEng or PhD) to be based in Athens , Greece, travelling frequently for extended periods to the Asset facilities (compressor stations, pipeline onshore and offshore, block valves and PRT (Pipeline Receiving Terminal)), in Greece, Albania and Italy.
ensuring that supporting processes and systems are established to manage and optimise production, reliability and availability of TAP assets.
Reporting directly to the Technical Asset Integrity Manager , the Electrical Engineer is accountable for providing technical assurance for the operation and maintenance of the Company’s electrical systems required for the operation of the Pipeline Receiving Terminal, Compressor Stations, Block Valve Stations, Transmission Pipeline and Control Rooms.
The Electrical Engineer shall be the focal point and actively manage the long-term supply agreements with external energy providers ensuring a safe, cost efficient and reliable supply of external electrical power.
The Electrical specialist shall provide oversight for contracts with vendors / suppliers of back-up electrical power generation / distribution units and associated systems.
The Electrical Engineer will support al operating country organisations and contracted resources in addressing all technical issues connected to electrical power generation and distribution, improving performance, providing technical guidance and direction and where required lead failure investigations.
He / she shall engage with external parties including shareholders, equipment & service providers, industry technical bodies, local electrical power supply organisations as required to drive continuous improvement.
