Key Duties & Responsibilities
Being responsible for regular execution of payroll
Reviewing and certifying payroll sign offs as required
Assessing technology requirements and changes and ensuring that software updates are completed by the vendor in a timely and complete manner
Ensuring all regulatory requirements and updates are performed and completed as required
Identifying opportunities and implementing continuous improvement and transformational projects
Collaborating with the People Operations Department for payroll and compensation issues
Qualifications & Competencies
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
4+ years experience in payroll in a large organization
Very good knowledge of labour law
Fluency in English
Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to perform data analysis and complex calculations
