Advisory Generalist (entry level)
Job Description & Summary
We are the leading provider of Advisory Services in the Financial Services industry in Greece, assisting financial institutions in diverse areas.
Our financial services deals team is involved in a range of advisory roles in transactions involving banks, insurance and financial services firms.
In this dynamic environment, we are now looking for high caliber Senior Associates / Managers for our Financial Services Deals team in Athens.
As a member of our team you will :
Be leading project teams, assisting in the preparation of pitches and presentations;
Assisting in the preparation and execution of transactions, from initial analysis of information to transaction strategy development and execution;
Participate in proposal development efforts for client engagement opportunities;
Lead the project team and manage junior member(s) towards the efficient and timely delivery of complicated assignments;
Facilitate internal and external team and client meetings;
Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts.
What we are looking for
Previous working experience ( 3-5 years for Senior Associate level and 5-8 for Manager level) in one or more of the following areas : investment banking, corporate finance, financial services consulting, corporate banking, private equity;
Bachelor & postgraduate degree from a top-tier university in Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting & Finance, Financial Management or Economics;
Previous experience in Financial Advisory sector, banking or management consulting industry and a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CFA) completed or at final stages would be highly appreciated;
A good knowledge of applicable accounting and reporting standards (e.g. IFRS, Greek GAAP, Greek chart of accounts) and understanding of related risks in the applicable financial statement areas;
Excellent business sense and commercial awareness;
Excellent financial and business analytical skills;
Client centric mindset, commitment to provide excellent quality work and build long term client relationships.
