As an Area Sales Manager you will be managing a team of Sales representatives and you will have the overall responsibility for their development, coaching and for securing that they meet their Quarterly & Annual targets.
Summary of Responsibilities
Overall Sales Responsibility of the region :
Achieve monthly / quarterly / annual sell-out target for the region
Prepare rolling forecasts for the next three months for all SKUs and communicate them appropriately to the Field Manager and Head of Pharma Sales
Set targets for all territories based on historical trends and future inputs, ensuring alignment with the ABP (Annual Business Plan)
Ensure teams’ delivery on NR, GM, MS, PICOS
Monitor constantly the sales and inventories taking corrective actions where required, take appropriate measures to activate and retain POS.
Provide systematic and cost-effective coverage of outlets as per target
Suggest and plan innovative solutions to achieve the desired business growths
Provide constant coaching for your direct reports, driving performance to the desired standards
Appraise periodically, the performance of your direct reports against agreed standards of performance, identify areas for improvement and implement training / developmental plans and ensure its implementation
Educated at min to Bachelor degree
5-7 years’ experience in sales preferably in Pharma sector
1-2 years of experience in equivalent role
Entrepreneurial spirit with high partnership / collaboration abilities
Fluency in English
Results-oriented, entrepreneurial and self- motivating
Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
Flexible in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills
