Position Requirements :
3+ years previous experience in similar position, preferably in a 5* or luxury hotel
Fluent English, Greek required, plus 1 additional language
Strong Experience in channel management and filling empty rooms at best / highest price (3+ year experience required)
Positive personality and selling charisma to increase sales with agencies, direct guests and other partners
Assisting Reservations Director to fill rooms & secure client payments for reservations
Cooperation with social media department to increase site awareness, bookings online, bloggers, and 5* reviews
Superior computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, social media, emails, internet)
Navigating, adjusting, and handling all internet booking engines (Expedia, Booking.com, Hotelbeds, etc) to maximize sales,
Opening and closing of availability, overall knowledge of executing proper channel management
Keeping photos and all hotel imagery up to date on ALL media channels and booking engines
Room Allocation of reservations to Protel room allocation system. On the spot adjustments when required by guest
Sending offers to guests and agents requesting availability and deals. Excellent written English required.
Monitoring of pricing and increased profit yield. Increase and decrease dynamic rates with local market changes
Previous full experience in creating static and dynamic agreements, contracts and rate plans
Strong connections with top B2C clients Booking.com, Expedia.com, Agoda.com, Webhotelier and more
After-sales follow-up with guests. CRUCIAL to encourage repeat sales, receive top reviews, strengthen market share.
Creation of seasonal special offers and newsletters to target guests
Weekly research of local pricing market, in order to initiate promotions, special offers and packages when needed
Strong negotiating skills with agents, partners, vendors and clients
Ability to organize reservations team, cooperate, train them positively and successfully
Ability to upsell to clients upgrades, extra purchases such as restaurant reservations, sunbeds, other bookings
Handling all on the spot accommodation situations with visiting guests, room changes, upgrades, sales
Cooperation with front desk, interaction with guests, ability to directly resolve guest accommodation issues
Knowledge of Protel. Maximum 40 years of age, non-smoker. Freedom to travel to trade shows, visit agencies
