The mission of the Network Infrastructure (NI) Business Group is to be the most trusted partner for the world’s most critical network infrastructure.

NI will respond to the ever-increasing demand for networks with higher capacity, greater reliability, faster speeds, and lower costs.

Within NI ,Software-defined networking ( SDN ) technology is an approach to that enables dynamic, programmatically efficient network configuration in order to improve network performance and monitoring, making it more like than traditional network management .

SDN architectures decouple network control and forwarding functions, enabling the network control to become directly programmable and the underlying infrastructure to be abstracted from applications and network services

The SDAN (Software Defined Access Networks) Care Technology team is looking for a dynamic, motivated and customer-oriented person with strong technical skills to further strengthen our team

What you will learn and contribute to

The SDAN technology team’s work is global and based on three main pillars :

  • Customer support : Through collaboration investigate, simulate and reproduce worldwide SDAN e2e related customer issues.
  • Automation : Be innovative in finding to optimize / automate the investigation and resolution of SDAN customer issues.
  • This also includes contributing to the implementation of solution in our SDAN solution. AI / ML is one of the area’s playing an important role in this process.

  • Technology evolution / knowledge sharing : Members of the technology team will always work with latest technology / products.
  • Intention is to build knowledge on these new products technologies and deliver this knowledge later to the worldwide technical support community.

    Your skills and experience

    a. Required training background and / or experience

  • higher education or university degree, e.g. bachelor or master degree
  • a few years’ experience in SDN related services or products
  • a few years’ experience in testing, field support in similar domains is recommended
  • a few years’ experience in working with open Software source tools is recommended
  • good knowledge of English is essential
  • b. Knowledge and skills :

  • Have a can-do attitude. When faced with an issue, you will creatively explore all options to find an appropriate solution as independently as possible.
  • Knowledge and / or experience in : Telecom and Data Communication, Unix
  • Knowledge on open source tools like MariaDB, ELK, kafka, zookeeper,Kubernetes ..
  • Knowledge on cloud platforms like Azure, Google, AWS, ..
  • Basic knowledge on AI / ML
  • Basic programming skills (Javascript Python)
  • Good analytical, communication, documentation and negotiation skills
  • Able to blend well into a multi-cultural and highly driven team
  • Capable of working independently when completing the assigned tasks
  • Customer and Service oriented - solution driven
  • Be eager to keep on learning to make sure your set of skills and expertise follow relevant market trends (including keeping up to data on the product portfolio as well as the technologies involved).
