The Internal Audit division provides independent and objective auditing and consulting services at one of Germany's largest and leading university hospitals, which are designed to create added value and improve business processes.

It supports UKM and its subsidiaries by performing risk-oriented audits of internal information and control systems (ICS), their regularity as well as their organization, expediency and efficiency.

Your area of responsibility :

  • Planning and execution of audits in the IT environment (including IT management, infrastructure, operations, projects, IT security (BSI / KRITIS), ERP and clinical information systems).
  • Preparation of audit reports, including the development of improvement proposals, accompaniment and monitoring of optimization measures (follow-up).
  • Development of risk-oriented audit programs and support in audit planning.
  • Further) development of data-driven audit methods (continuous auditing, process mining).

    We are looking forward to :

  • Completed master's degree in (business) informatics or business administration with a focus on business informatics or in a comparable course of study.
  • Relevant professional experience in the field of IT audits, IT controlling or also relevant operational experience in hospital IT.
  • Experience in the subject area of IT security and basic knowledge of business management processes and structures.
  • Knowledge of common (audit) standards and frameworks in the IT and audit environment.
  • Knowledge in the application of analytical tools in the field of data and process analysis (data and process mining).
  • Specialized continuing education such as CISA or CIA certification or a willingness to obtain such.
  • Analytical-conceptual understanding and a structured, independent approach to work.
  • Communication skills in the cooperation with the different professions of a university hospital
  • Good or advanced knowledge of MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
