As Product Manager for Travelist, you will turn the needs of customers, suppliers and internal users into a prioritised roadmap and, working with Travelist and Secret Escapes Group teams of developers, into great software solutions.

You will represent the specific needs of the Polish market, and contribute to harmonisation of Tech and Product across the Secret Escapes Group.

The Role - what you’ll do

  • As Product Manager for Travelist, you’ll be accountable for the roadmap, productivity and outcomes of your software development team
  • You will run a rolling discovery track to identify opportunities to better meet the needs of Travelist customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Using prioritisation frameworks, lean methodologies and OKR’s, you’ll ensure your development team is investing effort in an efficient, de-risked and targeted way
  • You’ll prioritise data evidenced hypotheses, and measure their impact against targeted, metric based outcomes
  • You will work closely with colleagues in the Group Capabilities team to identify opportunities to enhance both Travelist and SE Group features & functionality, and align sequencing of work to deliver maximum group wide impact
  • You'll be ruthless about pivoting focus if that is what customers, the business or market conditions demand
  • Evangelise your discovery findings and business impact results, engaging the rest of the organisation with the story you want to tell about how evolving your products capabilities will better meet the needs of its customers
  • This role sits in the Group and Holidays Capabilities super-squad’ and reports to the Lead Product Manager for that area.

    The Team

    The Product team at Secret Escapes is made up of 10 software development squads clustered around customer, partner and internal user experiences, and the group and holidays capabilities space.

    The team is a supportive and collaborative collective, focused on our mission to inspire the world to escape. We are open minded and use data and insights to devise hypotheses to test in as lean a way as possible.

    We are results oriented and focus on positively impacting targeted outcomes in the sweet spot between customer and business value generation.

    Our product and tech teams enjoy the flexibility of working remotely but can also offer hybrid working too. Travelist colleague have the flexibility to come into the office 1 day a week.

    Must haves

  • A track record of making a positive difference in e-commerce product management
  • A strong working knowledge of lean development practices and associated methodologies (agile, scrum, kanban)
  • Proven success in conversion rate optimisation
  • Numerate; comfortable finding the narrative in data and setting data driven OKR’s
  • A successful track record in using prioritisation frameworks to manage complex backlogs
  • Working knowledge of English (we are a part of an international group)
  • And you are

  • Strong enough to say no, in order to say yes to the right things
  • Open minded and comfortable reacting and adapting to change
  • A critical thinker, never just accepting an obvious solution but going to the core of the issue
  • Data driven and customer centric
  • Keen to take ownership while working as part of the team
