The Role :

The Deputy Director of Human Resources reports to the Director of Human Resources and assists in developing and delivering the strategic HR programs and services of the company.

She / He will directly supervise the operational and compliance functions of HR such as HR Management Systems, Employee Services Center, Compliance / Employee Relations, Development and Recruitment.

Responsibilities :

  • Participates in developing strategic plans, budget, department goals and objectives.
  • Working closely with the HR Director, identifies best practice HR programs / initiatives that are competitive in the industry and develops plans to implement programs / services.
  • Ensures that HR Service Delivery meets expected standards; implements changes and improvements
  • Works with HR Managers to ensure effective and collaborative working relationships across HR
  • Oversees and further enhances the services of the Business Management function
  • Provides guidance to management on HR policies and procedures; ensures compliance with HR policies and procedures; recommends improvements to policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

    Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of progressively responsible human resources experience

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

  • Critical and strategic thinker; knowledge of innovative HR programs and services.
  • Embraces change and sees the value of improvements in the HR organization.
  • Proven leadership ability.

  • Supervisory / Management experience.
