Accounts Payable Team Leader
Purpose of the Role
Provides Accounts Payable services for specific legal entities across Europe leading a large team (8-12 people), applying new technology solutions and proposing and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Is responsible for the quality of services provided by the Accounts Payables team of his entities to key customers both internal and external (Suppliers, Employees, Senior Management, Regulatory Bodies, etc.)
Ensures that the Accounts Payable subledger, monthly and year-end closing procedures are completed efficiently, accurately and timely
Introduces and implements best practices, processes, systems and KPIs applied in Shared Service Centers in order to ensure the provision of best in class service and to monitor performance in the optimum way
Works on Visual Management solutions that will allow the allocation and the follow up of the tasks of each team member
Ensures compliance with accounting principles, standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as well as all relevant tax and statutory legislation
Leads a large team of accountants coaching and motivating them to achieve maximum performance
Encourages team development and drives the succession plan to ensure a continuous pipeline of talents
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance.
CPA or ACCA or ACA will be highly appreciated
Fluent English speaker (C1 / C2)
Minimum 6 yrs experience in Accounting and another 2 yrs in a Lead / Supervisor role
