We are looking for an IT Business Analyst!
To support our Continual Service Improvement and Service Strategy team, we’re seeking for a talented and motivated individual with expertise in the areas of business analysis, software delivery and release management, Business Process Monitoring and reporting.
This role will work with all key business functions and customers and is aimed to deliver actionable items to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of IT processes and services.
What you will do
Eliciting feedback from customers, partners and technical teams to synthesize requirements, features, service improvements and business process monitoring reports and dashboards;
Work closely with all stakeholders of the software development and delivery cycle;
Reviewing functional and technical specifications and provide relevant insights;
Be a lead on designing new Business Process Monitoring processes;
Set-up, automate, maintain, and own dashboards and reports for business metrics;
Participate and / or lead meetings, workshops and trainings with the clients and other parties (European Commission and EU Member States) on the compliance and deployment aspects;
Pro-actively recommend any improvements regarding processes, reporting, communication, training and tools;
Nurture and grow business relationships.
What is your experience
The ideal candidate will have outstanding technical skills with spreadsheets, presentations, large and multisource data sets and usage of analytics to drive business and strategy;
Strong skills in data retrieval and analysis (e.g. SQL, R, Excel or Python);
Hands-on experience with business metrics report generation;
Experience with Business Process Monitoring tools;
Hands-on experience in technical and functional requirement analysis;
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle from testing to release management and monitoring;
Highly appreciated will be the understanding or experience with logging and monitoring tools to improve observability and monitoring across systems (e.
g. Grafana, Kibana, Google Analytics);
Highly appreciated will be the familiarity with IT Service Management and ITIL processes.
