To provide Human Resources support to the Athens Office.This position requires close working relationship with the local Athens Management team to grow the current technical team to support the business strategy.
Responsible for providing coaching and guidance to management and employees, including performance management, employee relations issues.
Recruitment and employee retention will be key areas of focus ensuring the correct knowledge and skills are hired.Supports training delivery in the local office.
Analysing data to make the best business decisions and ensuring employee retention.
This position has a close working relationship with the Regional Finance Controller working in the Athens office
This position supports a team of currently 40 employees, the location is expanding and this will increase to c60 employees.
Work closely with local stakeholders to deliver best practice HR advice and support across a range of people issues including workforce planning, organizational design, performance management and employee development.
Provide leadership and direction to management and employees
Responsible for transaction HR processes such as payroll, recruitment and selection, compensation planning
Ensure all local policies and procedures are up to date, legally compliant and applied appropriately and consistently.
Operates as a senior HR consultant to employees and managers on employee relations issues to facilitate the resolution of work-
related conflicts and promote increased communication.
Advises managers on complex relations issues (discipline, coaching associates, performance Management)
Leads activities related to driving employee engagement and sustaining a positive work environment
Assists employees with the preparation and interpretation of Company policies and responds to day to day enquires, concerns and grievances to ensure compliancy with local legislation.
Partners on complex, highly sensitive or business-critical cases to the HR Value Centre partner with an ability to use sound judgement as it relates to achieving solutions.
Leads the investigation of associate complaints and disputes and maintains related records and files.
Supports the overall Goal setting and Development process and administration of progressive discipline / corrective actions as it relates to performance issues.
Coordinates and participates in the exit interview process, identifies opportunities and areas of concern requiring follow up.
Prepares and executes monthly payroll with support of Finance team.
Collaborate on all Benefits and employees issues relating to benefits.
Liaise with external partners to review benefits and resolve employee issues
Prepare and present at Regional HR Meetings
Executes all restructuring, supporting and collaborating with Legal and others, including external counsel as necessary.
Manages onboarding process and ensures support to both managers and employees as part of the new hire process.
Collaborates with other HR Business Partners in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and programs related to employee relations.
Provides support to line managers using the methodology and tools provided by the COE partners
Collaborates with the Learning and Development Team to lead on local delivery and development solutions
Skills and Experience
BS BA or graduate degree preferred
Min of 6 years in applicable human resources experience in a similar field or in a similar cross matrix organization.
Prior experience as an HR Generalist or Employee Relations Specialist in an IT environment
Able to assess and solve problems that are complex and require consideration of impact on multiple areas
Able to drive improvements to current methods and processes significantly and contribute to the creation of new and innovative solutions
Understands key human resources areas including recruiting, performance management, employee development and employee relations.
Experience and successful track record in investigating and resolving complex employee relations issues
