Role profile :
The role is designed to specifically grow Cloud & IoT revenues through direct sales using Vodafone’s IoT & Cloud Product portfolio.
The IT Sales Account Manager role is the primary sales lead for Cloud & IoT opportunities.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Perform daily customer visits, identify and engage with customer decision makers (CTO, CIO, IT Directors, Marketing, Operations,etc )
Develop a good understanding of the customer needs, products and vertical markets
Understand customer business requirements to recommend and sell a wide portfolio of products and services that include : IoT applications, Connectivity, Computing, Data, Cloud Services (IaaS & SaaS)
Responsible for the full sales cycle in identifying, qualifying, proposing, winning IoT & cloud opportunities
Build a strong sales pipeline
Achieve monthly and annually sales targets that includes IoT & Cloud revenues
Manage & cultivate the relationship with key customers to deliver ongoing growth of revenue and retention
Efficiently collaborate with the mobile sales team and the sales specialists team
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Results oriented and attention to detail.
Inspired for effective communication in technical and commercial terms and ability to explain the benefits of Cloud economics.
Ability to understand the customer’s IT operation model and propose the benefits of moving to Vodafone’s cloud solutions
Relevant minimum 5 years’ experience in IT sales in business and enterprise customers.
Experience with XaaS (as a Service) business models and economics.
Passion for continuous learning of new technologies and stay current with latest Cloud services & solutions.
Self-drive and commitment to create awareness, consideration and adoption of innovative services and solutions.
Technical / professional qualifications :
University degree or Diploma in IT or related field
At least 4 years experience in a relevant field
Excellent speaking and writing English skills
