Optimal HR Group on behalf of its client, a leading Energy & Utilities organization, is looking for a Business Controller .
The Business Controller will oversee the business and financial operations of the Company and share responsibility for the organization’s economic and financial performance.
Specifically, the position performs financial analysis, develop financial planning processes and design and implement overall business plans.
Supporting and improving divisions’ / departments’ financial & operating performance, with the aim to achieve business targets
Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams
Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies
Acting as business partner in the evaluation of business cases (involvement in business cases process)
Assisting with the preparation of ad-hoc analyses on strategic projects such as investments appraisals, price positioning, strategic business analysis (e.
g. entering new market segments, launching new products or services, etc.).
Monitoring of value drivers and key strategic objectives according to the Business Plan of the Company
Implementation and maintenance of Company KPI’s tree
Responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, development and operation of the WBS system (SAP / ERP)
Working with all product owners to ensure controls are in place for all revenue streams. Working closely with Company’s Division managers (Energy management, Commercial, Development, Operations)
Any ad-hoc analysis assigned by the Head of Financial & Credit Control Department
Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related field (post graduate degree will be considered as a plus)
At least 6-8 years of experience in a multinational company in a similar position and with similar responsibilities
Proven experience in operations controlling, financial analysis, forecasting, investment appraisal, etc.
Efficient use of ERP SAP (CO / PA, BW), CRM software along with Microsoft Office
Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must
