We are looking to cover the role of Head of Production for our Plant in Athens, Greece.

Main Purpose

Lead Production Team (Front Line Managers, Shift Coordinators, Production Planner and Direct Labor) and provide the operational framework of the Production Department in order to achieve the efficient and effective conversion of Bill of Materials to Finished Products. That is :

A) Recruit, empower, engage my team members and making the actions necessary to create a positive organizational health culture in the department

B) Conversion of raw materials to PEPSICO fine quality products by managing the conversion process &

C) Liaise with marketing, sales, research and development department and engineering to develop new products initiatives and ideas and convey from idea to production scale and fine quality Finished Product to market.

Qualifications / Requirements

Key Skills / Experience Required

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience in food process related managerial roles
  • Ability to work in a unionized work environment
  • Execution : results orientation , self-initiation and priorities establishment
  • Operational Excellence :
  • Functional Excellence : Strong knowledge of the conversion process framework (Process Standards, Quality Standards, Productivity Standards, Food Safety and Hygiene Standards, Food Law).

    Knowledge of food engineering, food technology and food Quality Assurance. Understanding and leveraging of key business drivers (customers, consumers, competitors, costs and People).

  • Planning : Analytical thinking, strategic focus, ability to use data to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and accurately assess financial impacts.
  • Leading people and taking others with you : Team building , people development , inclusion

  • Networking & influencing & collaboration
  • Developing and managing own agenda

  • Language skills : Good level of English, proficient level of local language
