Purpose of the job :
Provide legal support and expertise with regard to legal issues arising out of the business activity with customers, partners, and subcontractors.

Legal & Compliance Function, Regional Cluster Teams, Tender & Bid Teams, Finance Function, Tender Control and Support Teams, Project Contract Managers, Sourcing Contract Managers
Customers, Partners, Sub-contractors, Law firms, courts and dispute resolution instances.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES
The position aims at supporting the business and the Head of Legal / Head of Legal and Contract Management in all legal matters, in particular :
Prepare, review and negotiate contracts, or other legal documents with an acceptable level of risks
Support the business in all legal and contractual matters including claim management, dispute settlement
Contractual and legal evaluation of tender documents
Support the business on litigation, arbitration or other dispute matters
Handling of corporate law matters
Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
Performance measurements :
Objectives, targets and performance measurements are defined on a yearly basis in line with the company’s financial targets, the General Counsel’s objectives for the Legal, Compliance and Contract Management Function.
Law degree in business law (Master II)
Desirable : LLM / LLB
At least 3 years of relevant experience in an international business environment or law firm.
Familiar with international contracts Previous exposure to international practice through studies or work experience
Familiar with Greek public tenders and Procurement Law
Excellent verbal and written skills in the Greek and English languages required
Private practice experience in international law firm is a plus
