The GSS group is a global team of experienced individuals with a diverse background in IT and IT enabled Services across multiple industries, offerings and capabilities of DXC, who understands the solutioning process as collaborative work and team play.
The Lead Solution Architect / Solution Integrator is a client-facing role and technical authority for solutioning complex deals within the EMEA region.
You will be responsible for end-to-end solutioning and leadership of complex pursuits while working closely with a team of Architects from respective Service Lines, Pursuit Managers, strategic global and local Partners, Sales Managers / Account Managers and other stakeholders and partners to deliver a competitive and optimal solution to solve customer challenges.
The Lead Solution Architect / Solution Integrator is the single point of contact for all questions regarding the technical solution related matters and responsible for solution development, (target) costing, technical proposal content, solution governance, and risk management.
Job responsibilities :
Consult with the Pursuit Team in presales activities during opportunity qualification
Consult with customer, sales and / or account to define the scope of an engagement, customer challenges and identify solution requirements.
Connect customer challenges and opportunities to the offerings of DXC across the complete Enterprise Technology Stack
Lead the pursuit solutioning team, coordinating the overall solution and costing preparation.
Understanding of current delivery model for in-scope services
Construct the Service Delivery model, considering current delivery model, locations, available resources, skills, expected service quality and staffing.
Prepare the solution cost model and identify the related risks. Writes high-level solution descriptions as part of the business case and detailed solution descriptions for the proposal, including associated costs.
Ensures that the solution design and architecture is accurately reflected in plans for Due Diligence (if applicable) and Transition / Transformation (including the evolution of the delivery model)
Leading cost optimization process
Collaborate with international Pursuit Teams to ensure that operational solutions meet customer requirements and are properly reflected in the :
Business Case (where applicable)
Human resources plan (where applicable)
Service Level Agreement
Statements of work
Collaborate with the customer key users, Solution Architects for each DXC offering and partners to develop an optimal end-to-end solution.
Collaborate with global and local partner and integrate theirs services into the overall solution
Develop and deliver presentations on the service delivery and technical solution to customer stakeholders and technical personnel.
Drive the negotiation of the technical contractual agreements
Participate in the solution governance and approval process.
Capture and communicates deal-specific best practices and lessons learned.
Transfer ownership of the solution design and implementation plan to the Transition Manager (after contract signature).
Knowledge and Skills :
Very Good understanding of IT Business interconnectivity and dependencies
Consultant or key user experience with Cloud, Applications, Security, etc.
Knowledge of outsourcing business
Project management experience in complex IT environments.
Understanding of ITSM / ITIL processes - ITIL Certification is an advantage
TOGAF Certificate is an advantage
Native speaker in local language, fluent in English (at level C2 according CEFRL); other languages skills are welcome

Education and Experience
Graduate degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or economics.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect (or similar position) in IT industry with proven track record
