ITT is seeking a SharePoint Developer / Administrator who will be responsible for administering an on-premises SharePoint farm and participating in the development of high quality, cost effective SharePoint solutions for a multinational organization.
These SharePoint solutions should seek to enhance normal and expected business operations and foster collaboration across the enterprise.
The candidate should be able to consult with ITT employees on project requirements and then develop well-designed solutions.
These projects will include designing custom sites, pages, lists / libraries, entry forms and workflows; designing permission schemes for sites and data;
and promoting the use of SharePoint for communication and collaboration. They with be responsible for the technical aspects of the solutions that they design and accountable for their on-going success even after they are deployed.
This position is also responsible for managing the day-to-day customer support for SharePoint.
Essential functions for the role :
Experience consulting with clients to provide effort estimates, design and develop solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint 2016 / SharePoint Online.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with users and support team members to develop SharePoint 2016 / SharePoint Online solutions that meet customer needs, while adhering to established standards.
Knowledgeable of and the ability to develop attractive and well-structured site pages.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to develop efficient and logical workflows that match the requirements of a complex process flow.
InfoPath or equivalent forms design experience with forms that are attractive, intuitive, easy to use, and match the requirements of a specific business process.
Ability to customize SharePoint web parts to match the functional and formatting requirements of a specific site.
Developing Web Parts for SharePoint Farms, using C# and Rest API
Hosted Apps for SharePoint Farms, using any of the following : Asp.Net MVC (C#), Web APIs
Thorough knowledge of SharePoint’s collaboration features and the ability to show users how to use these features to enhance their team activities.
Able to provide training, demonstrations, and other support to users as needed.
Administration Requirements :
Experience with SharePoint Farm setup, configuration and administration.
Familiarity with SharePoint Management Shell and PowerShell.
Experience with SharePoint’s security features.
Experience with migrating large site collections from one version of SharePoint to another.
Intermediate level knowledge of MSSQL Server.
Experience Essentials :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant job experience with above requirements.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with SharePoint and using it to develop sites or applications that include complex design features, custom forms and workflows with multiple tasks.
Demonstrable knowledge of common business functions in a large organization from the shop floor to the front office.
Experience with and understanding of Microsoft Office suite and Active Directory.
Position requires strong English communication (verbal, written) skills. Along with some customer service skills including the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
