About the role :

The Application Support Analyst analyses all assignments ( tickets ) in the field of expertise and resolves them, working with the pool of developments.

Seeks guidance and support from Senior Application Support Analyst, where required.

Key responsibilities :

  • Focus is on Incidents , Service Requests and Information Request tickets from the users, occasionally works on Requests for Change which are bundled into quarterly Enhancement packs.
  • Solves the assigned tickets as independently as possible, seeking support from the Senior Application Support Analyst where required.
  • Work with the development team to get any development done and with Application Delivery teams for template guidance.
  • Ensure that assignments get resolved / tested and approved according to procedures, including User Acceptance Testing.
  • Monitor interfaces / batches analyze issues and dispatch to the relevant teams.
  • Work with people from remote locations / regions (internal / external).
  • Continue to grow expertise in the respective business processes and applications.
  • About you :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Information Technology, or similar.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in application maintenance or application support.
  • Strong in English.
  • Experience with ITIL processes & systems (incident & change management).
  • Experience in working with SAP R / 3 system (one of the logistics modules, SD preferable) is a plus.
  • Experience in specifying and designing custom solutions on SAP ERP (ABAP) is a plus.
  • Have an interest and knowledge of Order to Cash and Pricing processes.
  • An analytical mind, structured, and attention to detail make you an ideal candidate.
