About the job

Our Business Intelligence department is committed to improving the business performance relying on decision support systems.

The goal is to deliver relevant data to people who need it, when they need it, and help them make sense of it. To this end, we designed a BI stack that captures all commercial data and populates modular analytical records to fuel business understanding, reporting and analyses.

We have distributed the roles according to the main operations, including Go-To-Market (GTM), Product, and Financial data.

We are looking for the Business Intelligence Analyst who will own the Financial data within the BI team and will be the go to person for reporting and analyses on this domain.

You will work with data that originally are stored in the Financial databases alongside GTM and Product databases. This includes designing and maintaining analytical records with SQL as well as building automatically updated reports and running ad hoc analyses.

To do so, you will have a complete understanding of high-level data in GWI and you will receive help and guidance from the Finance team and the BI team.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will partner within the BI team with a Data Architect, a Data Engineer, and two Business Intelligence Analysts.

Reporting to the BI Manager, you will be working closely and frequently with the Commercial Finance team, the Group Financial Controller, as well as other requesters for analyses that require the combination of domains, like pricing, customer churn or product margin.

This would require fluency with concepts and notions such as financial accounting, management accounting, accounts receivables, procurement, renewal, targeting, budgeting and forecasting.

Key roles and responsibilities :

  • Work with Finance and the Data Architect to understand the information flow and to improve the current views on the financial data.
  • Understand and challenge existing financial reporting and metrics.
  • Work with the BI Data Engineer to make sure that all the data you need are available in BigQuery
  • Define processes to populate clean, accurate and updated analytical records
  • Update documentation on the data-flows and definition of analytical records
  • Populate standard reports using BigQuery and Data Studio
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses based either on requests made or on what needs to be examined according to you
  • About you

So if you think we’ll see that inyou, then you’re already halfway there. Here’s the rest of what we’d like you to bring to the table.

    The essentials :

  • Proficient with SQL
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • In-depth knowledge of information systems, business processes and modelling tools
  • Familiarity with BI technologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, in oral and written English, both in technical and non-technical language
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
  • Experience in delivering reports and populating insights out of them
  • Nice to have :

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience with Saas model (familiar with terms like ACV, ARR, net retention, total dollar enrichment, deferred income, accruals)
  • Experience in General accounting, AR, AP or FP&A
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and SAP BusinessOne would be appreciated
  • R or Python could occasionally be handy but not a prerequisite
  • About the benefits

Great benefits make a big difference. Not just to employees, but to the whole vibe of a business. That’s why when you work for us, you’ll enjoy a full spectrum of generous perks and rewards.

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus
  • Generous training budget, including a fully paid international conference each year
  • 25 days holiday and Christmas office closure days on top
  • Flexitime and a great work-life balance

  • Regular social activities, including free online yoga and team outings in line with Covid-19 guidelines
  • Αναφορά αυτής της εργασίας
