Role purpose :
The role is responsible for implementing and operating a CI / CD pipeline for Siebel CRM to automate the delivery and deployment process.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Design and implement a CI / CD pipeline for Siebel CRM delivery and deployment process
Integrate with VF Group CI / CD toolkit (Jenkings, Github, SonarQube etc)
Coordinate with delivery teams for alignment with the new process
Collaborate with other VF opcos to extend the CI / CD pipeline for other markets
Participate in automation and monitoring initiatives implementing new features wherever needed

o Collaborate with peers in conducting code reviews, peer consultations, and providing technical feedback within the team
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and oral communication in English
Must have technical / professional qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or previous demonstrated work experience.
4+ years application development or operations in a corporate environment
2+ years experience with
o CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Github, Nexus, SonarQube etc.)
o at least one scripting language (Python, Groovy etc.) and bash scripting
Basic experience with automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc)
Good knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN )
Knowledge of build frameworks (Ant, Maven, Gradle) and repositories (maven, npm, yum etc)
Nice to have technical / professional qualifications :
Experience with Siebel Administration and deployment pipelines
Experience with Docker container and container orchestration platform like Kubernetes / Swarm
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Experience with monitoring / logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, Splunk, etc)
Experience on using some of the below technologies :
o Oracle PL / SQL
o Web Services (SOAP / REST) and integration with middleware systems (Oracle OSM, Fusion Middleware)
