Head of Compensation & Benefits Southern Europe
Location : Role can be based in any of these countries : Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria
Reporting to Head of Compensation & Benefits Europe Region as a Head of Compensation & Benefits Southern Europe you will develop, recommend, implement and maintain a strategic Compensation and Benefits framework that will address a competitive pay mix, motivation and rewards to employees in order to position the company as an employer of choice.
Key responsibilities include :
Defining for Sanofi Southern Europe (Greece, Southern East and Central Europe, Romania) the compensation and benefits strategy within the global Sanofi compensation guiding principles;
Promoting the Sanofi compensation policies to all business leaders and employees;
Feeding the Country Councils in the Cluster with the Compensation and Benefits related agenda;
Responsible for the harmonisation of compensation & benefit plans post any merger or acquisition;
Monitoring and making recommendations based on market trends;
Develop and recommend salary policy lines, effective benefits programs, Individual Variable Remuneration and other special payment plans as required;
Prepares and proposes Southern Europe salary budgets in accordance with the company norms;
Provides relevant Compensation & benefit information to the Head of HR of the Cluster as well as to HRBP’s and Line Managers;
Develops managers' capability in understanding and communicating compensation and benefits programs through training and information sharing;
Supports building new organisational structures as required;
Develop the team members’ skills and expertise in order to prepare the next generation of Compensation and Benefits leaders in Sanofi.
To excel in this role you will need to have :
Essential requirements :
Extensive experience of working within a C&B role in a large complex organisation (not only consulting);
In-depth knowledge of C&B principles, gained through exposure to multiple industries and companies;
Knowledge of the Life Science Industry and associated C&B market is a plus;
Experience in effective strategic design, and hands on delivery of a full range of C&B offerings;
Strong business analytical skills;
Ability to design and deliver educational programs to HR, managers and employees / coaching skills;
Successful experience of working within a cross functional matrix environment;
Ability to identify new ways of working and implement and lead change;
