The College of Fine Arts and the School of Art + Design at Ohio University invite applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure-track faculty position with an emphasis on teaching in Interior Architecture and service responsibilities to the program, school, and college.
We seek a candidate(s) committed to working effectively across the curriculum and with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
The successful candidate(s) will work effectively and in coordination with School, College, and University initiatives and must also demonstrate strength in strategic communication, with a high level of organizational skills.
Position beginning in August 2020.

As part of this expansion, we seek a dynamic, engaged, and collaborative individual to support this growth.
The successful candidate will be hired to teach a courseload commensurate with job responsibilities across the course of the calendar year (typically three (3) courses per semester) and will serve as an advisor for students.
Participation on School, College and / or University Committees will also be required.
Teaching emphasis is in undergraduate design studio and lecture courses in Interior Architecture. The successful candidate must be able to work with program faculty in developing and delivering courses as outlined by the School, including new and online courses.
A Master’s Degree or foreign equivalency in Interior Architecture or related fields (such as M.Arch), or equivalency in industry experience.
Documented evidence of professional interior design practice experience.
Documented university level interior design (or related) teaching experience.
