Role Purpose :
The physical security lead will be instrumental in the planning and executing of the personnel and physical security policy according to VF Group standards and guidelines and the local needs.
The ideal candidate shall be a strategic thinker who enjoys working on complex issues. He / she shall be able to understand the security threats to our people and assets, evaluate the risk of vulnerability within VF sites (building and premises) and work with cross functional teams with challenging missions.
More than that, the physical security lead will be member of the local incident and crisis management team and shall be flexible to working in non-working hours should that be necessary.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Design (based on the principles of VF guidelines), implement and monitor robust physical security measures that will discourage acts of harm.
Identify threats or attack indicators and initiate appropriate responses to a threat or attack as early as possible.
Ensure formal authorization measures are in place for all people accessing VF’s premises and sites.
Perform Risk, Threat and Assessment for critical assets. Execute site and building security assessments.
Initiate the physical security incident management process in the event of a physical security incident in alignment with the local crisis management plan.
Provide security related evidence / data to assist in internal / external investigations.
Organize crisis simulation exercise in cooperation with the respective function and the crisis team
Respond to ad hoc requests from VF Shops or sites related with personnel security issues or unauthorized access to VF sites / buildings
Perform Corporate Events’ physical security assessments
Support business continuity by ensuring appropriate continuity processes, systems and guidance documentation are in place and maintained
Support business continuity by identifying opportunities to improve recovery solutions.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
8 years of experience in physical security, security operations or any other related fields
Display a high level of resilience, initiative, effort and commitment when dealing with physical incidents and crisis
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely (both verbal and written).
Ability to participate productively as a contributing member in a team as well as independently
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Attention in details
Must have technical / professional qualifications :
Bachelor or Diploma in related fields
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Proficient in English Certifications in audits (especially in ISO audit), crisis simulations
Key performance indicators :
Fulfilment of 100% of projects defined in plan
Physical Security Policy Self-Assessment successful submission
Delivery of innovative proposals for protecting people and assets along with process and measures.
