As a member of the team, the Control Systems & Automation Engineer works within many areas of the company including documentation, implementation and configuration, commissioning, after sales support, and design engineering.


  • Defining opportunities to develop and deploy custom automations, machine design concepts and computer vision solutions to solve complex manufacturing problems.
  • Electrical Systems integration and design with existing and new equipment.
  • Developing innovative equipment designs for new and existing equipment.
  • Creating and updating product manuals according to operational features.
  • Creating / developing improvement ideas to make the team and company more efficient
  • Visiting sites and defining automation opportunities
  • Working with different operations and manufacturing leaders, engineers, and vendors to determine optimal solutions for automating their applications.
  • Creating performance-based specifications to supply to integrators to solve automation problems.
  • Continually learning and researching new technologies and incorporating them into automated design, in both a controls and programming capacity.
  • Providing support for equipment set up and debugging of equipment in field.
  • Training internal customers to use and maintain systems.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
  • 3 or more years of experience working with the development and implementation of control systems, automation integration, electrical design, PLC programming, controls schematics, single lines, analysis of electrical applications of automated machinery, and product / material handling equipment
  • Experience in programming and / or system administration on (SCADA, PLC, DCS, ESD) or related platform preferred
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Genuine interest in exploring and working with new technologies
  • Ability to prioritize technical issues
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Can act autonomously and work effectively under pressure
