CEE Enterprise Customers have invested considerably in on-prem SQL Server estate which must be modernized to enable their Digital Transformation.

We’re looking for an exceptional sales specialist, business development expert and cross-team collaborator to accelerate and grow the sales of our Azure Data offerings with a focus on modernizing the on-premises SQL Server, OSS RDBMS, and NoSQL databases to Azure as well as winning new applications onto the Azure Data platform.

This role will serve as the subject matter expert, customer advocate, and driver of the business value engagement with Enterprise customers across Central and Eastern Europe on the overall solution space of Data Modernization to Azure.

This role will own primary accountability for meeting or exceeding SQL Modernization revenue and scorecard targets as well as building a healthy, sustainable, hyper-growth business for Azure Data.

As the CEE Data&AI Solution Sales Professional for Data Modernization, you will be leading Sales Community across CEE when it comes to accelerating modernization of SQL Server on-prem estate to Azure.

Customers with SQL Server Software Assurance can take advantage of Azure Hybrid Benefits providing them with cost optimization options for moving to Microsoft Azure that no competitors can beat Your role with will be on point for accelerating SQL AHB activation penetration.

You will be partnering with Customer Success, Partner, Marketing, Solution Assessment and Services organization to refine the value proposition and messaging of Data Modernization for Enterprise customers across Central and Eastern Europe.


Drive the sales strategy and execution for the Data Modernization solutions.

  • Collaborate with the Customer Success, Partner, Marketing, Solution Assessment and Services orgs to refine business value content and messaging to deliver clear guidance for a simplified, consistent seller experience
  • Lead and coach the CEE Data&AI Sales Team including individual contributors and sales managers for effective execution of the business value engagement with customers
  • Role model the seller behaviors and skill sets for successful execution of each Data Modernization sales play through customer engagements, deal coaching workshops, 1-many training events, and 1-1 engagement with sellers and sales managers
  • Review and support the demand generation strategies and campaigns for maintaining a healthy pipeline for this solution space
  • Unblock and accelerate deals for the field through regular office hours engagement, on-demand escalations, and win room support
  • Active collaboration with the One Commercial Partner team to manage a healthy and motivated partner ecosystem for this capability
  • Own CEE Data Modernization business results and insights for respective solutions :

  • Accountability for the growth and target attainment on CEE business for this solution space
  • Actively manage the performance of the business on the leading indicators and KPIs for the business
  • Pipeline management and analysis to review the health of the business at the geo, segment, and workload levels
  • Identify, capture, and communicate customer, partner, and seller insights on this solution space to inform the sales strategy as well as overall business strategy
  • Demonstrate thought leadership internally and externally on this solution space to create impact through influence.

  • Depth of knowledge on the problem space from the customer perspective as well as the Digital Transformation scenarios that can be unlocked by modernizing the Data estate.
  • Learnings and insights on the strengths and weaknesses of competitive offerings and market trends related to this solution space
  • Expertise on the seller perspective including the effectiveness of specific plays, guidance, and collateral as well as the keys to delivering a simplified, consistent seller experience for this solutions space
