AgroApps is a startup SME, backed by Space Hellas SA , that aims to solve the problems of modern farming and agriculture by building systems that address real life challenges using sophisticated numerical models, machine learning technologies, satellite and meteorological data, and crop growth models.

We are currently looking to fulfil a position of a Junior Business Analyst that will also incorporate the skillset of a Junior ICT Project Manager to join our team in Thessaloniki.

Our companys business model provides a unique opportunity for IT oriented professionals to take over the hybrid role of a Project Manager and Business Analyst as member of diverse teams that undertake projects ranging in size, scale and type.

The core focus of this role is to manage and oversee products and / or projects while leading the team on gathering requirements and guide the phases of implementation / coordination and support while working with stakeholders and the development team to select, design, deploy and support on a wide variety of existing and new projects and products.

It is essential that you are comfortable working with cross-functional teams at all levels and can communicate / convey / translate complex technical concepts simply to your stakeholders that will lead the team into a successful implementation.

What you will be doing :

  • Collaborate with the project or product team on defining objectives, scope, roles & responsibilities;
  • Manage delivery of the project according to its plan;
  • Gather requirements, design and analyze the solution in functional requirements and wireframes;
  • Perform tests on implemented solutions and evaluate quality and performance;
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and team leaders in order to ensure a shared understanding of the functional requirements;
  • Collaborate with the development team leaders in order to plan, prioritize and schedule development tasks;
  • Provide regular updates on deliverable timeline and project status to the companys senior management.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in applied / engineering sciences and / or computer science;
  • Reporting, problem solving, and analytical skills;
  • A confident communicator, with both technical and non-technical people;
  • Excellent knowledge of English language.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in applied / engineering sciences and / or computer science;
  • Agile Project Management experience (SCRUM).
  • Managing or participating in complex projects under demanding timelines;
  • Prior experience with issue tracking software (e.g. JIRA) and software development principles;
  • Prior experience as a developer (especially in Web related technologies).
