Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities :
Act as lead recruiter for all Athens recruitment
Act as main point of contact across Europe for recruitment across all business functions.
Comfortable initiating and developing relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders, offering data, market intelligence, and vision
Continually be seeking out industry nonconforming and creative approaches to attract talent that may be completely unique to the region or business unit
Take ownership of projects and take personal pride in delivering unanticipated and creative results
Gravitas to sell new ideas and processes both internally and externally
Work globally with HR and Talent Acquisition partners to continually identify and improve process and systems
Comfortable simultaneously managing large volumes of roles whilst managing to invest in specific searches and campaigns
Motivated by being immersed daily in ambiguity and change and identifying a channel to success
Working closely with corporate affairs and other brand ambassadors internally to develop the company brand and creation of talent pipelines
A proactive, collaborative and flexible approach to all aspects of Talent Acquisition and its influence on the company’s success and progress
Awareness and accountability for their own influence and responsibility in creating an inclusive, diverse and respectful workplace
An interest in identifying and embedding best in practice Interview skills
Abilities, Experience & Qualifications :
Experience in a shipping or trading company is not essential, but being comfortable in a high pressure, globalized and ambitious environment is a must.
The company’s success and it ability to serve its customers effectively remains in its ability to identify the strongest employees.
Experience working in recruiting, either in house or agency. Multinational experience is a plus
Fluent written and spoken English
Very high attention to detail
Excellent collaboration, communication and team work
Strong process orientation, organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
Experience in recruiting hard to find talent
