5* Hotel located at Sifnos Island is looking for experienced, passionate and dedicated personalities, to be a part of the team 2021 / 22 and provide the guests the ultimate hospitality experience that comes straight from the heart.

You will be responsible for delivering annual revenue targets, through all channels for the hotel. This position is based in Athens and in Sifnos Island Greece.

Native fluency in Greek and English is an essential requirement to be considered for this position. Past expertise working sales for luxury hotels in Greece is an essential requirement to be considered for this position.

Position Requirements :

  • Degree in Business / Hospitality / Tourism Studies.
  • 5 years previous work experience in Sales Department.
  • 5 years previous work experience in front office / reception position in 4 or 5 star hotel.
  • Fluency in English ,French and Greek.
  • Excellent level of customer service. Immediate, polite and targeted communication.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral skills in Greek & English Proficiency or Native Speaker level.
  • Computer skills : proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, professional with attention to detail.
  • 5 years previous work experience in reservations department.
  • 5 years previous work experience in front office / reception position in 4 or 5 star hotel.
  • Knowledge of Protel / Ermis Pro / Chanel Manager Booking / Expedia etc.
  • Excellent written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of major OTA’s.
  • Experience with Tour Operators and travel agencies.
  • Revenue management experience, setting revenue goals and generating metrics, will be highly appreciated.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and online collaboration tools.
  • High level of customer care skills and empathy.
  • Dealing with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Pleasant and friendly personality with the ability to smile even when under pressure.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment within a team with minimal supervision.
  • Driving license & open to travel over the region.
  • Focuses on building the resort top line revenue. Develops and executes strategies that are aligned with the resort business strategy to deliver against the hotel sales and booking goals working with the Global Sales Office(GSO) and other above property sales resources to deliver results.
  • Ensures the development of a strategic account plan for the demand generators in the market as well as developing new markets.
  • Ensures sales information provided to the Operations departments is timely, accurate and enables the property to meet or exceed guest expectations, create customer loyalty and grow market share.
  • Ensures execution of brand strategy and brand initiatives in all Sales processes and continually focuses on improving guest satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with local DMC’s, Tour Operators (both domestic and international) Travel Agencies (both Domestic and international) , wedding and celebration planners.
  • Manage selected accounts to optimize account penetration and gain market share.

  • Maximize every opportunity via cross selling.
  • Represents the hotel at trade shows, industry events, familiarization trips & consumer shows.
  • Send out contracts to all partners in a timely and professional manner.
  • Responsible for account management of key market segments (Leisure and MICE)
  • Coordinate with the Area Director of Sales & Marketing Europe and GSO on any other required activities.
  • Able to build positive and strong client relationships
