So what’s the challenge
The IT Security Operations Manager is responsible for the Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan and delivery of the annual IT-Security Roadmap.
The role incorporates identified risks under the monitored use cases, leads internal investigations to identify possible threats and root causes and provides guidance and knowledge transfer for the hardening of existing and new technologies.
Your day to day will include
Managing the IT-Security Operations Team for effective support of Business and Information Security Projects and initiatives, including the annual IT Security Roadmap.
Ensuring alignment with the Corporate Security Policy and effective monitoring of IT Systems and Security Infrastructure for security violations
Improving the overall security posture of the IT environment by identifying protection gaps, remediating vulnerabilities and coordinating efforts across support teams
Building strong relationships with end users, IT service providers, Business and Technology stakeholders, for the implementation of the necessary & appropriate corrective solutions on areas of risk
Coordinating the security incident response team, including preparation, detection, investigation, containment, recovery and post-activities
Providing 3rd level support in the detection and analysis of network anomalies considered to be Events of Interest (EOI)
Managing the priorities and results of the Security Assessments (RED) Team, for the security certification and accreditation of corporate systems and services
Researching and analyzing security threat intelligence from a variety of sources and applying appropriate mitigations for identified indicators of compromise;
evaluating also changes to security controls as needed
Ensuring compliance with organizational security rules and standards, auditing readiness, servicing continuity and governance
What you need to succeed
BSc in Information Technology or Information Security field. An MSc degree or equivalent is desirable
5+ years’ experience in managing IT Security Operations Team in demanding and mission critical environments
2+ years in the analytical field of implementation and monitoring of Enterprise Security Information and Event Management Systems (SIEM)
Excellent knowledge of Information Security Standards & Best Practices, IT security trends and regulatory frameworks including incident and threat management
Strong knowledge of IT Security Infrastructure, security protocols and supporting technology (i.e. major Security vendors of UTMs, Next Generation Firewalls, WAFs, Load Balancers, Advanced malware, Mobile device security & management, DDoS protection, Data Leakage Prevention and Privileged Identity Management solutions)
Extensive hands-on experience in the execution of IT projects and application of necessary IT security controls in systems, applications, network, database etc.
Proven experience in Security Incident Response Handling
Strong knowledge of Cloud Security technologies and experience in major Cloud Service Providers' (Microsoft, Amazon, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.

Valid CISSP or equivalent certification will be considered a plus
Strong managerial, organizational and planning skills, critical thinking and rigorous attention to detail
Proven analytical and problem solving skills; high ability to understand complex issues quickly, to effectively analyze business / IT risks and controls and to clearly report and escalate findings
Effective written (technical and business) and verbal communication skills in Greek and English, both in technical and non-technical language
