As a Category Marketing Manager , your challenge will be :
Leading a portfolio of existing and new technology in the Herbicides & Fungicides crop protection business in Greece, Cyprus and Israel
Managing the life cycle of the products in the portfolio including creating, launching, growing defending and exiting when required.
Main responsibilities :
Stay on top of customer, market and business partner needs : quantitative and qualitative
Work within local teams to decide local commercial and technical positioning at customer and business partner level for new and existing products
Gain deep understanding of all the activities and products of the company and their interrelation for his / her assigned portfolio (CPP, seeds, digital etc.)
Stay active in identifying Crop Protection market challenges, gaps and opportunities
In charge of marketing plan for existing portfolio
Interpret and translate commercial issues into local project plans
Conduct price / volume / profit analysis in the country for projects and existing products and develop the optimum cross-geographic pricing strategies and implement them.
Label Owner : together with Regulatory team secure the correct label of its products
In charge of new technology
Validation of technical and product concepts
Accountable for Business Case for new projects
Propose to MM marketing and launch plans
In charge of Program management (product advancement, product development)
Lead the LPCT of its portfolio in the cluster
Demand and forecasting
IBP update, supported by the sales organization and the Cluster Leader
Demand and New opportunity creation (GMID) for its portfolio supported by the sales organization and the Cluster Leader
Strategy for aging inventory (discard DO, exit GMID .)
Key Stakeholders and Interactions :
Internal : Local Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, IFS, Portfolio leaders, peers in other CU's, etc.
External : leading farmers, key institutes, associations etc.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
At least BSc in Agronomy or similar disciplines
At least 3 years of experience in a marketing role within the Crop Protection segment
Excellent written and verbal skills in Greek and English
Willing to travel 30% of the annual time
Good MS Excel and Word experience
