You will work closely with team members to assess government activities of importance to AWS, anticipate potential government actions, and develop mitigation or enhancement strategies and positions to assist in our external advocacy efforts, outreach programs, and key initiatives.

This is a 6 month internship aimed at a recent graduate. AWS internship will provide you with unforgettable working experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;

Key job responsibilities
Providing support for AWS’s policy position development on issues such as digital agenda, policy monitoring and research.
Assisting with updating and helping implement an engagement plan with Greek and Cypriot Institutions.
Scheduling and preparing documents for meetings with policy-makers and other relevant stakeholders.
Supporting the Public Policy team in working with AWS’s business teams to ensure alignment between business and policy goals.
At least 4 years of university education as a recent graduate in Law, International Relations, Public Administration or Economics (BA / BS required).
Fluency in Greek and English.
A keen understanding of the legislative and regulatory policy process as well as the technology industry.
You have very high attention to details and you like to structure and organize things so that they make sense. You see things through to the end, iron out the wrinkles and ensure everything works well.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience creating and effectively delivering factual, relevant, and easily understandable talking points and other messaging.
Ability to maintain the highest personal levels of ethical conduct, confidentiality, and integrity.
Highly effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively and comfortably interact at all corporate and political levels.
Previous experience in public sector, public affairs consultancy or law firm would be a plus.
Additional European languages, e.g. Bulgarian, Croatian, would be a plus.
