Optimal HR Group on behalf of Elpedison, a leading Energy & Utilities organization, is looking to recruit a Procurement Buyer based in Thessaloniki.
The Procurement Buyer will participate in the general administration of the Procurement department preparing service contracts and purchasing orders, using advanced negotiation practices in order to achieve the best result.
Moreover, she / he will evaluate supply options, perform suppliers market search, executing spot purchases, maintaining positive supplier relations and maintaining accurate Procurement records.
Executing purchase to pay activities for all company's divisions / departments, following the company’s procedure and preparing contracts and POs following best business practices
Reviewing contract status and following renewal or termination process based on company’s needs and alternative options
Implementing Retail products logistic management, supporting the commercial division, for the smooth distribution of RT products to the sales network
Preparing regular Spend Analysis per supplier, and spend category (material, services) to Purchasing Section Manager, supporting the Procurement strategy per category, and category Hierarchy definition
Negotiating commercial offers for purchases and contract creation, % savings per case & improved commercial terms (payment terms, guarantees etc.)
Maintaining vendors records in all company's systems, and the vendor folders up to date
Providing refreshment trainings and guidance to SAP MM transactions and functionalities to all Operational department users
Implementing vendor market analysis and maintains positive relations with existing suppliers, acting as the focal point for any open item (e.
g. goods delivery, contract amendment, overdue invoice payments)
Prepareing Requests for Quotations and reviewing proposals received from suppliers
Ordering equipment quantity for Software or Equipment based New Services
Reviewing procurement needs, formulates the annual Procurement Plan and monitors the respective execution
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering
1-3 years of experience in Economics or Procurement services
Strong ability to negotiate and use diplomacy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must
Efficient use of MS Office
