The award-winning The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort and The Westin Resort Costa Navarino are seeking for a capable, outgoing and flexible Reservations Agent.
The successful candidate needs toto assist the Revenue Team in providing an efficient and friendly Reservations service, and to maximize revenues to achieve budgeted and forecasted targets.
The minimum pre-requisites for this position is that the candidate is competent in all Reservation Agent tasks, is enthusiastic about the hotel, displays a willingness to learn and a focus on Customer.
Moreover he / she is an OPERA reservations software user.
Essential Functions :
Maximises rooms revenue through the conversion of telephone calls into sales
Is fluent on all hotel products and services
Handles faxes and emails pertaining to rooms reservations
Is fully conversant with all market segments and rate plans used across all distribution channels
Handles customer queries and complaints relating to Rooms Reservations
Identifies sales opportunities through individuals, Corporate Accounts, Wholesalers and Travel Management companies
Supports the Reservations Manager and / or Revenue Management leader with special projects as required
Candidate requirements :
To fill this position the candidate must have a sales orientated personality, being able to converse with a wide range of experienced and inexperienced customers, in both the local language and in English.
Be fluent in Greek and English, verbal and written (Other languages- Russian, German or French will be considered a plus)
Be able to take a customer focused decision by themselves, whilst remaining cognizant of all sales and revenue management principles.
Display passion for our customers, and enthusiasm for the job.
Possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, (Excel / PowerPoint / Word) Opera PMS / Samp;C or Fidelio / Delphi, and be fluent in Internet Explorer
