Acoounts Payable Team Leader
Purpose of the Role
Responsible for providing Procure-to-Pay services (Accounts Payable and Travel Expenses) for countries across the business.
Leading a large team (8-12 people) through the Procure-to-Pay processes, applying technology solutions from a Procure-to-Pay perspective and being actively involved in other Procure-to-Pay process improvement initiatives.
Business / Financial
Reviewing systems, processes and controls to ensure optimum efficiency and security is maintained
Ensure Accounts Payable subledger, monthly and year-end closing procedures are completed efficiently, accurately and timely
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards and SLAs
Ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements and agreed target on KPI’s
Ensuring that all relevant tax and statutory legislation is adhered to
Assume responsibility for the quality, service levels and timeliness of the team’s work
Responsible for the output of, and quality of services provided by the SSC AP and T&E team to key customers (who include Suppliers, Employees, Senior Management, Regulatory Bodies, etc.)
Lead, plan and organize the team’s work
Coach and motivate the team to maximize performance
Encourage team development and drive the succession plan to ensure a continuous pipeline of talents within the shared service center
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance.
CPA or ACCA or ACA will be highly appreciated
Fluent English speaker (C1 / C2)
Minimum 3 yrs similar job experience as a Lead / Supervisor
10-year experience in Accounting
Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company
Experience in multinational companies and / or in a SSC environment would be a key asset
